Timelapse of Construction Project

We were commissioned to provide full length construction timelapse on a site in Teesside within the North East, The North East based construction site was an area of wasteland in the Wilton area of Redcar TS10, measuring around 130,000 sq/m We were commissioned to provide a topography survey using drone technology of the construction site before any work was permitted. Alongside the topography survey, we were asked to provide monthly construction timelapse and regular drone footage on a monthly basis to document the construction and groundwork. The client stipulated that the timelapse cameras were to be networked on a common server and installed without the need for a fixed power supply.
We managed to come up with a solution after some investigation into timelapse modules and agreed on a system with its own solar-powered supply. The solar-powered timelapse cameras were an ideal solution for the construction site with a large 220° field of view and 4k resolution. An ideal solution for such a large-scale construction site.

The timelapse cameras could then be linked and networked to a common server using a cellular network and managed remotely preventing the requirement for continuous on-site management. All data could be downloaded from the cloud remotely and a professional construction timelapse video produced dynamically as and when the client required it.
The client required us to limit the construction timelapse video to 3 minutes, the final composition reduced 10 Months of construction-related groundwork and enabled down to a 3-minute video. Ideally suited to social media platforms.
